Isabel García-Zarza (Salamanca, 1971) studied for a degree in English and journalism, convinced that the sky was the only limit. She began working in Brussels with Reuters who sent her to La Habana as a correspondent in 1999. She left Cuba in 2005 with husband, child and material for her first book, La Casa de Cristal (Ed. Rey Lear, 2009). Since returning to Madrid, she has been writing for YO DONA, El Mundo’s weekly women’s lifestyle supplement.
